It's Saturday morning again, and the air is filled with its usual freshness. Today, however, it feels a bit different... It feels... like Fall. The air is cool and crisp outside, the sun is warm with a reflective tone. The sky is clear and blue... And it's too cold outside of my blankets to get up!
I could tell it was Autumn the moment I woke up, and I immediately wanted pumpkin muffins. I'll probably be making those sometime this weekend, but for breakfast I decided to go with Apple Cranberry Walnut Toast (see previous post for directions on how to make) with butter spray* and a cup of hot tea. I'm not much of a caffeine drinker, so I usually stick to fruit and herbal teas. My favorite hot tea is Tazo's Wild Sweet Orange. It's smooth and has a hint of mint. The combination of orange and mint gives it a very refreshing taste. Toast and tea was a great way to start the day! Happy Saturday!

Up and coming:
- Pumpkin Muffins: There's no better way to kick off the Fall season than by baking a batch of pumpkin muffins!
- Chia Seed experiment: My husband bought me some Chia Seeds at the market, so I will be doing some research on what to make with them. I'm excited to have something new to try!
*Butter Spray: I like "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter" spray. It lives up to its name. I do keep regular butter in the house for baking, but for toast and other day-to-day foods (veggies, etc.) that call for a spritz of buttter, I go with the butter spray.
So cozy!! I love your new blog...and that Chicken Pot Pie Casserole looks like something Rob could enjoy. :) Blessings, friend. And keep on posting!
